Our background
Growing Patch Nursery is a family run setting offering a home-from-home environment.
We offer quality care by qualified staff that specialise in all areas of childcare development. Good manners, social behaviour and personal hygiene are all incorporated into our daily routine, encouraging children to care and share with each other throughout the day.
We embrace a small learning environment that will help children feel comfortable and grow to the best of their ability.
Settling in
Starting a childcare setting can be a very testing time for many children and parent/carers. To help you and your child at this time, we offer settling in sessions, where you and your child can come together and familiarise yourselves with the nursery and the staff. This allows plenty of time to discuss your child' s specific needs and requirements. These will be arranged prior to starting at the setting.
Throughout the nursery setting we make a point of regular staff in each section; this allows the children to gain a strong relationship with thier carers. On admission to Growing Patch each child will be allocated a key person. The role of the key person is to keep parents/carers informed of all aspects of thier child's learning and development journey. Your child's key person is available to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child.
